Drawing parallels between the natural tones of rusted heavy metals and natural undyed materials, between wood grain and Damascus steel, resulting in a juxtaposition of opposing but connected design languages.

Sparingly branded products combine to form a complete intro pack, a combination of hard and soft goods to highlight quality across multiple mediums.
The use of pushup bars doubling as handles to remove the molded pulp padding gives the user a chance to feel the quality of the equipment, while also providing a memorable experience akin to disassembling the mating parts of a work-hardened mechanical device.
Additional paper collateral was minimized by including relevant information on the molded inserts and the box itself. This choice was inspired by the engraving critical tool information found on inserts or parts of devices that are heavily used.
